Helping people has always been at the center of Monica's career. As a Registered Nurse, she spent years caring for patients and supporting families during difficult moments. Her background in healthcare developed a deep appreciation for listening, educating, and helping people make informed decisions.

Later, as a licensed real estate professional, Monica gained valuable experience helping buyers and sellers navigate one of the biggest investments of their lives. That experience provided a unique understanding of how moisture and mold concerns can affect both properties and real estate transactions.

Today, those experiences come together through Nosey Tattletails, combining healthcare, real estate knowledge, and professional canine detection into one service focused on helping families find answers.

Meet River

River is a professionally trained Labrador Retriever whose incredible sense of smell helps identify areas where hidden mold odors may be present. She completed extensive mold detection training under Bill Whitstine at the Florida Canine Academy and continues ongoing training to maintain the high standards expected of a professional detection dog.

River's calm temperament, focus, and enthusiasm for her work make her an invaluable member of the Nosey Tattletails team.

Providing professional canine mold inspections requires far more than simply owning a detection dog. Both handler and canine must work as a team through extensive training, continuing education, and regular practice to maintain consistency and reliability.

River's Training

River completed extensive mold detection training under Bill Whitstine at the Florida Canine Academy. Bill is widely respected as one of the pioneers of mold detection dog training and has spent decades developing working detection dogs throughout the United States and internationally.

River continues ongoing training to maintain her detection skills, accuracy, and reliability so every inspection is performed to the highest professional standards.

Monica's Training

Monica also received extensive handler training under Bill Whitstine, learning canine behavior, odor recognition, search techniques, handling skills, inspection procedures, and proper interpretation of canine alerts.

Combined with her background in nursing, real estate, and dog handling, this specialized training provides clients with a knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate inspection experience.
